Karan Johar’s Special Tribute to His Children
Causal but homely, they were all dressed in the warm pictures. Karan was decked out in a black sweatshirt with black pants and white sneakers, while Roohi was cute in a blue T shirt with pants. Yash was in bright red, which was eye-catching. They had some very candid moments, giving us a glimpse of their bond.
In his caption, Karan expressed his deep love and sentiment with the notes, “My biggest achievement is being a father. I named them after my parents because beyond a lineage or a name, an emotion must continue…they are my world! Happy birthday, Roohi and Yash! My biggest prayer for you both is to always be kind.”

And instantly, the post filled with love by the fans and people around. One commented, “So cute! They shine in their own way. Happy birthday, lovelies!” Another said, “Lots of love and best wishes! May happiness become part of their every day.”
Karan Johar Turns on Parenthood
Karan Johar welcomed Yash and Roohi through surrogacy in February 2017. He named Yash after his father, Yash Johar, while Roohi is formed by an anagram of his mother’s name, Hiroo.
Karan shared his thoughts on single-parenting issues in a 2019 episode of Pinch By Arbaaz Khan. He remarked, “Being a single parent does have its challenges. But I don’t subscribe to the orthodox idea, where men and women have defined roles to play. This is an old-school thought. I have a lot of love to give my children; they also have my mother at home, who they call ‘mumma.”
With his heartfelt tribute and unwavering love, Karan has set up an atmosphere for Yash and Roohi to thrive in warmth and care.
