Farhan Akhtar has formally announced Kiara Advani as the female lead in ‘Don 3,’ eliciting excitement from fans. The esteemed star of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ is poised to assume a significant role alongside Ranveer Singh in the franchise. Through a video shared on social media, Farhan introduced the actress to the project, prompting fervent anticipation among fans eagerly awaiting the on-screen chemistry between Kiara and Ranveer. Helmed by Farhan Akhtar, ‘Don 3’ promises to deliver another enthralling installment to the series, setting the stage for an unparalleled cinematic experience. As anticipation mounts for the film’s release, audiences await what appears to be a cinematic masterpiece in the making.
Additionally, Excel movies shared a collaborative post with Kiara Advani on her Instagram account, extending a warm welcome to her in the ‘Don’ universe with the caption, “Welcome to the Don universe @kiaraaliaadvani #Don3 (sic).”

Farhan has previously indicated that filming for ‘Don 3’ is scheduled to commence in 2025. Addressing concerns regarding the early revelation of the movie’s details, Akhtar expressed his intention to inform the public about the next portrayal of ‘Don.’ While some fans of Shah Rukh Khan, who portrayed Don in the initial two films, expressed disappointment at Ranveer’s casting in the lead role, Akhtar reassured them during an interview with BBC, emphasizing the importance of an actor owning the character and bringing their unique style and flair to the role. He affirmed his confidence in Ranveer’s ability to deliver a stellar performance and expressed his personal responsibility to ensure that the script and film align with his vision.
As of now, there has been no official announcement regarding the remaining cast of ‘Don 3.’ The ‘Don’ series has long been associated with gripping narratives, thrilling action sequences, and cherished memories. Notably, the original ‘Don’ film, released in 2006, featured Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Boman Irani in prominent roles, earning acclaim and accolades such as the Best Asian Film award at the Neuchatel Fantastic Film Festival. Its sequel in 2011, ‘Don 2,’ garnered positive reviews and featured a cameo by Hrithik Roshan. Under Farhan’s direction, Amitabh Bachchan also portrayed the titular character in a remake of the 1978 film ‘Don.’
Regarding Kiara Advani’s forthcoming projects, she is set to star alongside Ram Charan in ‘Game Changer,’ in addition to her role in ‘Don 3.’ Described as an action-packed drama infused with contemporary political themes, ‘Game Changer’ will be released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages. Produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations, Dil Raju, and Shirish Garu, the film is slated for a pan-Indian release, with an official release date yet to be confirmed. Kiara Advani has garnered acclaim for her performance in ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ opposite Kartik Aaryan and is rumored to feature in ‘War 2’ alongside Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr., although no official confirmation has been provided.
