Compassion and understanding reflect God’s image in us, and these children teach us the true meaning of love.”

Dr. Mallika Nadha, President of Special Olympics Bharat, spoke about the importance of fostering an inclusive society. “People with disabilities must not only be included but given opportunities to shine. This celebration is a reminder of what we can achieve when we work together for a compassionate world,” she remarked.

Father Jose Alarico Carvalho, Director of Fr. Agnel School, emphasized the true essence of Christmas. “Christmas symbolizes love and selflessness. It’s a reminder to affirm the dignity of every individual, especially those with different abilities, as equal members of our society,” he said.

A Call for Inclusivity

Father Roby Kannanchira CMI, Director of Chavara Cultural Centre, highlighted the deeper purpose of the celebration. “Christmas is not just a festival; it’s a call to love without conditions, embrace inclusivity, and serve others with an open heart. Tonight reminds us that no one, regardless of their background or ability, should ever feel forgotten,” he said.
