Effective from April, the salary of Asha workers will see a rise of Rs 750, emphasizing their crucial role and dedication. Similarly, Anganwadi workers will also experience a salary increase of Rs 750. In her remarks, Mamata Banerjee contrasted her government’s approach with that of the central government, particularly mocking Prime Minister Modi’s promises as mere empty rhetoric. She emphasized that while her government fulfills its guarantees, those from Delhi often fall short, likening them to gas balloons that deflate after elections.
