Renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra brought the curtain down on Dubai Fashion Week 2025 in spectacular style on February 6. The grand finale saw supermodels Adriana Lima and Valery Kaufman take center stage as showstoppers, dazzling the audience in Malhotra’s high-glam couture.
For his first-ever runway showcase in Dubai, Malhotra introduced his “World Collection: Dubai”, a departure from his signature bridal couture. Instead, he embraced the city’s opulent aesthetic, unveiling a stunning lineup of gowns, capes, long jackets, and abayas—all crafted in luxurious fabrics and adorned with intricate embellishments.
Supermodel Adriana Lima, a former Victoria’s Secret Angel, turned heads in a strapless black gown with a corset bodice, completely encrusted with crystals and pearls. She amped up the glamour with statement diamond jewelry, including an elegant black-and-diamond choker and sparkling bracelets.
Meanwhile, Valery Kaufman commanded attention in a sheer, dazzling gown, featuring an intricate eggshell-like design embellished with glitzy details. She completed her ethereal look with a white fur stole and diamond jewelry from Manish Malhotra’s high-end jewelry line.
Manish Malhotra’s growing presence in Dubai
Malhotra, known for dressing Bollywood’s biggest stars and crafting some of Indian cinema’s most iconic costumes, has been expanding his footprint in the Middle East. In December 2023, he launched his first international flagship store at Dubai Mall, making this show a celebration of its one-year anniversary.
