MERI Ignites Global Dialogue with Youth at “Global Forums 2025” Event

Future Leaders Dive into Global Policy, Technology, and Conflict Resolution in a High-Impact Academic Event at MERI, Janakpuri

The Management Education and Research Institute (MERI), Janakpuri, Delhi—part of the MERI Group of Institutions—hosted a dynamic event titled “ Discussion on Latest Global Forums 2025 ” on May 7, 2025. Inspired by top international platforms like the Raisina Dialogue, Doha Forum, Boao Forum for Asia, and World Economic Forum (WEF), the event brought together students and faculty to explore global challenges and policy trends.
The program opened with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Deepshikha Kalra, Dean of MERI, who stressed the importance of youth participation in global policymaking. Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Khurana, Guest of Honour, delivered a compelling keynote on the evolving role of global forums and the impact of young voices in shaping global agendas.
Participants engaged in insightful discussions on topics such as India-China-US relations, EV and AI innovations, global sustainability, conflict resolution, and economic growth in Asia and Latin America. Students showcased research-driven insights and critical thinking across all sessions.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing top performers:
- 1st Position: A.L. Srisudarsanan (MBA) – Analytical Excellence
- 2nd Position: Sakshi (MBA) & Himanshu (BBA) – Team Innovation
- 3rd Position: Amandeep Kaur (BBA) – Articulate Presentation
Awards were presented by Dr. Khurana and Dr. Kalra, who applauded the winners’ efforts. Dr. Neha Shivani delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging organizers and participants.
The event highlighted MERI’s commitment to academic excellence and reinforced the powerful role of youth in navigating global issues through informed and collaborative dialogue.
