In a significant development this week, Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus assumed the role of Chief Advisor, equivalent to the position of Prime Minister in Bangladesh. On Saturday, amid political unrest, Bangladeshi protesters compelled the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Obaidul Hassan, to resign. Despite the ongoing turmoil, Muhammad Yunus unveiled the portfolios for his newly appointed 16-member advisory council on Friday.
