Navy on alert in Mumbai amid India-Pakistan Tensions; fishermen advised to avoid sensitive areas

With tensions escalating between India and Pakistan, the Indian Navy in Mumbai has gone into alert mode. A key meeting was held with local fishermen, during which the Navy advised them not to venture into sensitive zones for fishing.
According to officials, there is a concern that boats could be misused by Pakistan like the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. As a precaution, fishermen have been alerted. The Navy will soon begin a survey of fishing boats in Mumbai, and data will be collected through a dedicated mobile app.
