New Vande Bharat Express Trains Departing from Patna: Routes and Timetables Revealed!

Indian Railways stands as the most convenient, economical, and comfortable mode of transportation for Indians, remaining one of the nation’s most favored options. Among the renowned trains traversing the country is the Vande Bharat Express, introduced a few years ago as a superfast chair car, soon to unveil sleeper accommodations. In the latest development, two new Vande Bharat Express trains are set to depart from Patna – one bound for Lucknow via Ayodhya, and the other for Siligudi. Let’s delve into the routes, timetables, and additional particulars of these new Vande Bharat Express trains.

New Vande Bharat Express Trains Set to Depart from Patna

As previously mentioned, Indian Railways is preparing to initiate Vande Bharat Express train services from Patna. The inaugural Vande Bharat Train will journey from Patna to Lucknow, reaching the Uttar Pradesh capital via Ayodhya. The second Vande Bharat Train will run from Patna to Siligudi. While the timetable for the Patna to Siligudi Vande Bharat Train has been confirmed, the schedule for the Vande Bharat Train from Patna to Lucknow is yet to be determined. The commencement date for both trains remains unannounced, but the launch of these Vande Bharat Express Trains is anticipated to take place from next week.

Patna-Siligudi Vande Bharat Express: Route and Timetable

As previously stated, the timetable for the Patna-Siligudi Vande Bharat Train has been finalized. Covering a distance of 471 kilometers in just seven hours, the Patna-Siligudi Vande Bharat Train will commence its journey from Siligudi at 6:00 AM, reaching Kishanganj at 7:00 AM, Katihar at 8:30 AM, and Patna at 1:00 PM. On its return journey to Siligudi, it will depart from Patna Junction at 3:00 PM, reaching Katihar at 7:30 PM, Kishanganj at 8:49 PM, and New Jalpaigudi at 10:00 PM. Maintenance for this train will be conducted at New Jalpaigudi Station, and the train will not operate on Tuesdays.

Patna-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express: Route and Timetable

The timings and timetable for the Patna-Lucknow Vande Bharat Train are yet to be determined. This Vande Bharat train will travel from Patna to Lucknow via DDU (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction), with a new rack arriving at Rajendra Nagar for this purpose. Currently stationed at the Rajendra Nagar Coaching Complex, the trial run and other inspections for the train commenced on Sunday. The route for this Vande Bharat Express includes Patna, Aara, Buxar, DDU, Ayodhya, and finally Lucknow. Departure from Patna is anticipated around 6:00 AM, with an expected arrival in Lucknow at approximately 10:30 PM.
