The Indian Army has destroyed a Pakistani post and a drone launch pad used for sending drones to attack India. This action is a strong response to Pakistan’s ongoing provocations.

Pakistan has recently increased drone attacks and in response, India’s Air Defense units acted quickly. On Saturday morning, around 5 AM, several enemy drones were spotted in the Khasa Cantonment area near Amritsar, Punjab. Indian forces immediately took action and destroyed all the drones. The Indian Army has made it clear that Pakistan’s violation of India’s sovereignty and its attempts to put civilians at risk will not be tolerated. The Army has promised to stop every attempt made by the enemy.

The Army also reported that drones from Pakistan were seen at 26 locations along the international border and the Line of Control, stretching from Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir to Bhuj in Gujarat. Many of these drones were armed and could have targeted both military and civilian areas. Some of the places where drones were spotted include Baramulla, Srinagar, Awantipora, Nagrota, Jammu, Ferozepur, Pathankot, Fazilka, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bhuj, and others.

Drone attacks have been stopped at important places like Srinagar Airport and Awantipora Airbase in South Kashmir. Just a day before, India had foiled Pakistan’s attempt to attack Indian military posts with drones and missiles. In Ferozepur, Punjab, an armed drone targeted a civilian area. The injured were treated immediately, and the area was secured by security forces.

Given the current situation, the Indian Army is staying alert and cautious. The armed forces are keeping a close watch on the airspace, and all suspicious drones are being neutralized using counter-drone systems. Authorities have advised people living near the border to stay indoors, follow safety instructions, and avoid rumors. While the situation is under control, remaining vigilant is essential.
