Cricket Analogy: Focus on the Ball, Not the Noise
One of the riveting moments of the session was when PM Modi used cricket analogies to talk about the stress the exams bring. When a student asked Modi how to deal with such pressures while preparing, he gave the analogy of students being like batsmen, playing a match.
“In a stadium full to the rafters a batsman hears cheers about the sixes and fours, but the batsman is focusing on the ball,” said PM Modi. “In the same way, students should not be distracted by outside pressures, whether it be expectations or low grades. Their focus should solely be on their preparation, challenging themselves every step of the way.”

Technological Lookout: Aid for Growth Rather Than Mere Pastime
Addressing the importance of technology in education, the Prime Minister emphasized caution while using them.
“Technology is not a cyclone that would destroy you; rather, think of it as a powerful tool that can help you,” is what PM Modi had said. He further urged students to use their digital tools to enhance their knowledge and refrain from wasting time seeing social media reels.
Time Management: Reverse Your Studying Methodology
PM Modi also shared a few tactics regarding time management, saying it is important first to address the hard subjects.
He added, “Students usually start with the lighter subjects and leave a little time for the tougher ones. For optimum time utilization, start with the most difficult subjects in the morning when your mind is fresh and then move on to the simpler stuff.”
He further recommended writing a daily study plan and marking upon completions, arguing this will lead to greater efficiency in exam preparations.
The Friendship Speaks: To Overcome Anxiety and Depression
The Prime Minister talked about the open sharing during an inquiry on managing the trials of anxiety and depression, especially around examination time.
“Just share whatever you feel with elders-whether it is parents, teachers, or mentors. Talking about your worries lightens the load,” he advised, emphasizing that mental well-being iswhat matters for achieving good results in academics.

Beyond the Marks: Place Failures in Trust
A student had a question whether the only thing that mattered was academics for a successful future. In response, PM Modi urged students to think of a much larger canvas as far as success was concerned.
Life does not end with small failures. Your goal should be to become a warrior in life, not just in exams, he said. Failures should be made your teacher, and success should be seen holistically. Follow your passion instead of chasing just academic scores.
Wellness and health: Sleep, Sunlight, and Nutrition
Other than education, PM Modi advised a student very strongly on measured living. He justified the great sleep, good food, and exposure, which he called Surya Snaan, telling that indeed, that is a requirement for total well-being and for better concentration while learning.
Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025: A Step Towards Stress-Free Exams
The eighth series of Pariksha Pe Charcha has gone on to produce eight episodes, each dealing with various aspects of stress-free learning. The program remains a guiding light for all students, providing them with workable solutions to deal with life and motivating them to achieve without pressure.
Through PM Modi’s discussion, the need for reminding students that exams form only a small part of life and that their self-motivation, preparation strategy, and emotional health are significant factors in their success for years to come was put forth once again.
