Manu Bhaker, a double bronze medallist at the Paris Olympics 2024, and her coach, Jaspal Rana, received a grand reception upon their arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Wednesday, August 7. Manu secured a bronze medal in the 10m air pistol event and another in the mixed team 10m air pistol event alongside Sarabjeet Singh.
Although Manu had the potential to become the first Indian to win three Olympic medals in a single edition, she finished fourth in the 25m pistol final. The 22-year-old shooter is in New Delhi for only a few days and will soon return to Paris to serve as India’s flag-bearer for the closing ceremony this weekend.
