Ayushmann Khurrana Film “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” Release Date Out

Updated At: October 18, 2025 1:42 PM

Pati Patni Aur Woh Do promises laughter, love, and chaos as it hits theaters during Holi 2026.

The makers of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do have officially announced that the romantic comedy will release in theaters on March 4, 2026, coinciding with the festival of Holi. The announcement was made by T-Series Films through social media, along with a bright and lively first poster that immediately created buzz among fans.

The film is directed by Mudassar Aziz, who also directed the 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh. The upcoming sequel is set to recreate the same humor, drama, and emotional turmoil, but this time with an even more colorful spin, just in time for the holidays.

All-Star Cast

The film stars a heavy-hitting cast led by Ayushman Khurrana as Prajapati Pandey, joined in important roles by Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi. With all of this talent on screen together, they will be entertaining just watching the chemistry unfold.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Renu Ravi Chopra, and creatively produced by Juno Chopra, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is already among the most highly anticipated films of 2026, considering its all-star cast and crew.

Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is a sequel to the previously released 2019 film Pati Patni Aur Woh, which starred Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday. The 2019 version itself was a remake of the 1978 classic of the same name. The earlier film was praised for its humor, performances, and modern take on relationships, paving the way for this much-awaited follow-up.

Although the story of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has been kept under wraps, the teaser poster and caption hint at another lighthearted exploration of marriage, misunderstandings, and love triangles. The tagline suggests that every husband lives in his own world of comic confusion, promising audiences a film filled with laughter, emotions, and unexpected twists.

A Perfect Holi Release

Releasing the film during Holi 2026 is a strategic move by the makers, as the festival’s colorful and joyous spirit aligns perfectly with the tone of the movie. The film’s lighthearted theme and festive release date are expected to attract a wide audience and deliver strong box-office numbers.
