On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed on his three-day official tour of Austria and Russia. President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit in Moscow on July 8 and 9.
The following three days will be spent in Austria and Russia. He wrote in a post on X that “These visits will be an excellent opportunity for strengthening ties with these nations, with whom India has a time-tested friendship.”

He continued, “I’m also excited to engage with the Indian community residing in these nations.”
“The special and privileged strategic cooperation between India and Russia has advanced during the last 10 years, especially in the fields of security, energy, trade, investment, education, health, culture, tourism, and interpersonal relationships,” Modi remarked.

“I am looking forward to discussing all elements of our bilateral partnership with my friend, President Vladimir Putin, as well as exchanging perspectives on a variety of regional and international issues.” he said.
The PM is scheduled to leave for Austria on July 9 and will meet with Chancellor Karl Nehammer and President Alexander Van der Bellen.

According to PM Modi, before the state visit, these visits will be a great chance to deepen relations with these nations.
