Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep sorrow and shock on Thursday following a tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad, calling the incident “heartbreaking beyond words.” The crash, which occurred earlier today, has reportedly resulted in multiple casualties and has left the nation in mourning.

PM Modi posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, said:

“The Ahmedabad tragedy has shaken us all. It is an immensely sorrowful moment, and my prayers are with everyone impacted. I’ve spoken with Ministers and concerned agencies to ensure swift and effective relief efforts are underway.”

The Prime Minister’s message comes amid widespread concern and emotional outpouring across the country.

Government Mobilises Relief Measures

PM Modi stated that he has been in touch with Ministers and top officials to ensure immediate assistance to the victims and their families.

The Gujarat government is also coordinating with central agencies to ensure that survivors receive timely medical attention and that the families of the deceased are supported.
