In a statement on Wednesday, PM Modi underscored how 11 years of infrastructure advancements have played a crucial role in building a self-reliant and progressive India. In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi listed the major achievements of the NDA government in the infrastructure sector since taking office in 2014.

“Infrastructure transformation has completed 11 years. India’s growth has been fueled by the development of world-class infrastructure across railways, highways, ports, and airports. This expanding network is making life easier for citizens and boosting prosperity,” PM Modi wrote.

He emphasized that India is now focused on building *next-generation infrastructure, driven by sustainability and long-term vision — a mission that strengthens the core of *Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).

The Prime Minister also highlighted several key developments from this “infrastructure revolution,” including the construction of modern highways and ropeways, enhanced maritime capacity, affordable and accessible air services through the UDAN program, and substantial improvements in the railway industry.To illustrate the progress in Indian Railways, he mentioned initiatives like the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, Vande Bhara ins, and the Amrit Bharat Express.

The official government handle also shared a post on X, stating, “Smart cities, safer roads, and smoother travel — this is the promise of New India’s infrastructure. Under PM Narendra Modi’s leadership, the nation’s infrastructure is rapidly advancing toward a future-ready India. It’s not just about construction, but about a journey where steel meets spirit.”

The post further added that every highway, bridge, and digital network is connecting the aspirations of Indian citizens. This isn’t merely about physical development, but about confidence, connectivity, and realizing the dreams of a New India.

It’s noteworthy that the NDA government recently completed 11 years at the Centre. Prime Minister Modi took oath on *May 26, 2014, and since then, the government has continuously showcased progress across sectors, placing infrastructure at the heart of its mission to make India a *developed nation by 2047.

Before becoming Prime Minister, Modi served as the *Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014, and today stands among India’s longest-serving national leaders.
