Atal Foundation organised an event on December 25th to commemorate the birthday of former Prime Minister of India Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This was the third time when Atal Gaurav Award and first time when Atal International Award were presented. Out of numerous applications from various individuals across the country, 35 were selected for the Atal Gaurav Award, and 11 candidates from different countries were chosen for the International Award. These awardees were honored during the program.
Among the honored individuals was Manoj Sharma, founder of P.R. Guru, who received the Atal Gaurav Award. He was felicitated by the Chief Guest, Dr. Mahendra Munjapara, Minister of State for Ayush and Minister of State for Women and Child Development.
Expressing his gratitude, Manoj Kumar Sharma said, “Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has inspired everyone to move forward together. The late Prime Minister Vajpayee was a charismatic and miraculous leader who not only reached the pinnacle of Indian politics but also touched the hearts of common people through his unique style. He established high standards of simplicity and morality. I am grateful to be honored with this award on his birthday.”
Mrs. Aparna Singh, the National President of the Atal Foundation, also praised the work being done by Manoj Sharma for the welfare of society. She mentioned that the foundation was created to advance the ideals of Atal Ji, and it is gratifying that some individuals are working to uphold those ideals for the benefit of society. Manoj Sharma is one such person who is always dedicated to serving the needy.
