Qualcomm India has declared that an event called “Snapdragon for India” will happen in Delhi on July 30. Two big developments are hinted at in the company’s invitation. The Snapdragon logo, 5G, Wi-Fi, AI on a PC, and other significant ideas are all highlighted in the artwork of the media invitation for the event.
These visual signals imply that one of the announcements might be the release of 5G Copilot PCs with Snapdragon X Elite processors for the Indian market. There are also rumors circulating regarding the possible release of further Snapdragon X Plus and Elite PC models.
New Snapdragon Laptops in India
Soon after their worldwide release, a number of manufacturers have started to provide laptops with Snapdragon X Elite processors in India. Pre-orders for HP’s EliteBook Ultra and OmniBook X AI PCs and Asus’s Vivobook S 15 AI PC are currently being accepted. The Surface Pro and Surface Laptop Copilot PCs from Microsoft are another product that has joined the market.
Industry experts predict that the second revelation may relate to the mobile sector, while the first statement is expected to focus on Copilot PCs.

The invitation features 5G images, which has sparked rumors of a potential Jio 5G smartphone that is affordable and runs on a Snapdragon processor. This wouldn’t be the first time; in 2021, Reliance Jio and Qualcomm worked together to introduce the JioPhone Next 5G smartphone, which made use of the Snapdragon 215 Mobile Platform.
