In her post, Soundarya recounted how Ved was reluctant to go to school, prompting her father to personally escort him. She captioned the post: “My son didn’t want to go to school this morning, so my dear superhero took him himself. You excel in EVERY role you play—both on and off screen, my darling appa.” She added the hashtags #BestGrandfather #BestFather #JustTheBest.

Soundarya Rajinikanth, who shares a son named Ved with her ex-husband R. Ashwin, married Vishagan Vanangamudi in February 2019. They welcomed a second son, Veer Rajinikanth Vanangamudi, in 2022. Soundarya has been active in the film industry since 1999 as a graphic designer and director, with notable works including Kochadaiiyaan and Velaiilla Pattadhari 2.
