
The 76th Republic Day Parade promises to be a spectacular celebration of India’s vibrant cultural history and diversity. This year’s parade, themed ‘Swarnim Bharat: Virasat Aur Vikas’ (Golden India: Heritage and Progress), will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution’s promulgation on January 26, 2025. The event will comprise tableaus from 16 states/UTs and ten ministries, resulting in a spectacular display along Kartavya Path in New Delhi.
What’s Special in this year’s Republic Day?
Adding an international flair, 160 marchers and 190 musicians from Indonesia will join the Indian Armed Forces contingents, symbolizing the two countries’ longstanding and developing relationship. The event’s Chief Guest will be His Excellency Prabowo Subianto, the President of the Republic of Indonesia.
