New Delhi, September 2, 2024:
In a press conference held at the Press Club of India in Delhi, Manju Chhibber, North India President of the Republican Party of India (Aathawale), and Advocate Ravi Sonu Kundli, Haryana State President, made key announcement regarding the Haryana Assembly elections. They stated that their party is ready to contest on 8 to 10 seats in Haryana. Discussions are ongoing with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regarding seat allocation. If no agreement is reached with the BJP, the Republican Party will field candidates on 8 to 10 seats and support BJP candidates on the remaining 80 seats. If an agreement is reached, the party will contest elections on 2 seats, Mulana and Nilokheri.

Manju Chhibber said, “We are fully prepared to contest elections on 8 to 10 seats in Haryana. If the BJP does not allocate even 2 seats to us, we will field candidates on 10 seats and fight vigorously. Our alliance with the BJP is strong, and discussions on seat allocation are positive. Even if we do not reach an agreement, we will not campaign against the BJP. Our goal is to focus on public welfare issues and serve the people of the state.”

Advocate Ravi Kundli also clarified that neither the party nor its leaders will campaign against the BJP. He emphasized that efforts will be made to adhere to the alliance’s rules to maintain the NDA’s unity and strength. He also highlighted that the party’s focus will remain on electoral issues, including education, health, and other public welfare concerns. Kundli stressed that the party aims to serve the public through politics and will continue to work towards raising awareness among various social groups, following the teachings of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.

Under the leadership of national president and Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Aathawale, the party’s base is steadily growing, and the organization in Haryana is being strengthened. During the press conference, Advocate Ravi Kundli announced that Union Minister Ramdas Aathawale will visit Haryana next week in connection with the assembly elections. The conference was also attended by key leaders including SC Cell President Ramesh Chaudhary, District Karnal President Mukesh Sirohi, Sunil Sahu, Manoj Sindhia, District Kurukshetra President Master Surajbhan Mehra, and Mahipal.

It is clear from this press conference that the Republican Party of India (Aathawale) is preparing to play a significant role in the Haryana Assembly elections and aims to bring a new direction to the state’s politics with the support of the NDA.
