Despite challenges, camp collected 55 units of blood.
Faridabad, December 29, 2023 –
The Rotary Club of Faridabad (RCF) organised its 18th Blood Donation Camp, a heartening community initiative held at the office premises of Club Secretary Rtn. Mohinder Sethi and Rtn. Naresh Sethi on December 29, 2023. The event received good response, with 80 volunteers eagerly stepping forward to contribute to this noble cause.
Despite encountering a few challenges, the Blood Donation Camp achieved remarkable success by collecting a total of 55 units of blood. Unfortunately, 25 individuals had to be turned away due to underlying medical or health issues. It is noteworthy that a significant proportion of donors were first-timers, including several women, highlighting the growing awareness and commitment to giving back to society.
The Rotary Club of Faridabad expresses heartfelt gratitude to the Sadabahar Sethi brothers for their unwavering dedication to serving the community and their consistent participation in various Rotary projects. In an era where blood shortages are a pressing concern, the Sethi brothers took the proactive step of hosting the Blood Donation Camp at their company. The Rotary Club sincerely appreciates their exemplary service and offers a heartfelt “DIL SE SHUKRIYA” to both brothers.
Special acknowledgment is extended to esteemed members whose active participation played a pivotal role in making the event a success. President Rtn. Amarjit Singh Narang, Rtn. Vijay Suneja, Rtn. Rajesh Arora, Rtn. Tajender Bhardwaj, Rtn. Jogesh Bhatia, Rtn. Sushil Nagpal, and Rtn. Meenesh Bhatia contributed their valuable time and effort to ensure the smooth functioning of the camp.
Additionally, the Rotary Club expresses gratitude to the board members of the Blood Bank, namely Rtn. Dr. Deepak Prasad and Rtn. Pasricha ji, for their indispensable support and guidance throughout the event.
The Rotary Club of Faridabad remains steadfast in its commitment to the mission of service above self, and events like the Blood Donation Camp serve as a powerful testament to the community’s spirit of generosity and compassion.
