Fans are asking, is this an announcemnt? Samantha shared cosy photo with Filmmaker Raj Nidimoru

Updated At: November 8, 2025 2:32 PM

Mumbai: South Indian superstar Samantha Ruth Prabhu has set social media buzzing after sharing an Instagram post that fans say hints at a budding romance with acclaimed filmmaker Raj Nidimoru.

The post, a carousel celebrating her recent fragrance launch, included one frame that has grabbed attention: Samantha, in a sheer black lace dress, is seen embracing Raj Nidimoru, the visionary half of the hit-making duo Raj & DK (The Family Man, Farzi). Raj Nidimoru, dressed in a tailored black suit, rests a hand on her waist as both smile at the camera – a moment fans describe as intimate and electric.

Alongside the images, Samantha reflected on her career progress, writing: “Surrounded by friends and family. Over the last year and a half, I’ve taken some of the boldest steps in my career. Taking risks, trusting my intuition, and learning as I go… With a lot of faith, I know this is just the beginning.” While her caption focused on gratitude and growth, fans quickly zeroed in on the chemistry in that one frame

Within hours, the post went viral. Comments ranged from excitement to curiosity: “Is it official? 😍🔥” read one, while another proclaimed, “She has made it official! Power couple alert!” The buzz even spilled over to X (formerly Twitter), where #SamanthaRaj started trending as users dissected every detail for hints of commitment.

This isn’t the first time Samantha and Nidimoru have been linked. Their on-screen pairing in The Family Man Season 2 laid the foundation for speculation, while off-screen sightings – from vacations and spiritual retreats to supporting Samantha’s directorial debut Subham – have kept fans guessing. Insiders note Nidimoru’s supportive presence in Samantha’s life, particularly after her 2024 divorce from actor Naga Chaitanya.

Neither Samantha nor Nidimoru has publicly addressed the rumors. Samantha’s feed continues to focus on empowerment and wellness, while Nidimoru maintains his understated filmmaker persona. Yet, fans remain hopeful, interpreting the Instagram post as a “soft launch” of a potential new chapter in the star’s life.
