
“A Voice for the Marginalized”: Arvind Rajbhar Presents Party’s Vision for Delhi
National General Secretary Arvind Rajbhar and Delhi State President Dharamveer Launch the SBSP Manifesto
New Delhi, January 29, 2025 – The Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP) has officially released its manifesto for the upcoming Delhi Assembly Elections. The document was presented at the Press Club of India by SBSP’s National General Secretary and former Uttar Pradesh Minister, Arvind Rajbhar, alongside Delhi State President Dharamveer. Senior party figures such as Shakti Singh, Piyush Mishra, Dr. Chandresh Pratap Yadav, and Balli Chaudhary were also in attendance.
Empowering the Underserved: SBSP’s Commitment to Change
During the launch event, Arvind Rajbhar underscored the party’s dedication to social justice, inclusive governance, and comprehensive development. He emphasized SBSP’s mission to uplift marginalized communities, generate employment opportunities for youth, and improve access to education and healthcare.
“SBSP is not just entering the electoral race; we are here to be the voice of those who have long been ignored. Our manifesto is a commitment to real change in Delhi’s political landscape,” Rajbhar declared.
Key Proposals in SBSP’s Election Manifesto
SBSP’s manifesto includes a series of welfare-driven policies aimed at enhancing the quality of life for Delhi residents:
- Affordable Household Essentials: LPG cylinder prices will be capped at ₹500 to ease the financial burden on households.
- Support for Widows & Disabled Women: The widow pension will be increased from ₹2,500 to ₹5,000, with additional provisions for disabled widows.
- Women’s Representation & Empowerment: SBSP advocates raising women’s reservation in governance from 33% to 50% and plans to launch women’s awareness programs modeled after successful initiatives in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
- Religious Welfare: Temple priests and mosque maulanas will receive a monthly stipend of ₹25,000.
- Education Reforms:
- Implementation of “One Nation, One Education” to standardize government and private school curricula.
- Introduction of mandatory constitutional studies in all schools.
- Alcohol Ban & Welfare Funding: The party proposes a liquor ban, with revenues redirected toward education and social welfare programs.
- Infrastructure & Environment: Plans include cleaning Delhi’s rivers, improving sanitation, addressing water shortages, and upgrading public transport and housing.
- Support for Workers & Small Traders: The party aims to introduce new schemes benefiting laborers, small business owners, and economically weaker sections.
Delhi Needs a Leadership That Listens: Dharamveer’s Address
Speaking at the event, Delhi SBSP President Dharamveer stressed the need for a leadership that prioritizes public welfare and transparent governance.
“Delhi deserves leaders who truly understand the struggles of its citizens. SBSP is committed to creating a city where opportunities, essential services, and governance work for everyone,” he said.
SBSP’s Electoral Debut in Delhi
This marks SBSP’s first participation in Delhi’s Assembly elections. The party is fielding candidates in three crucial constituencies:
- Dharamveer (Janakpuri)
- Arvind Kumar, a retired soldier (Dwarka)
- Vinod Chauhan, a retired officer (Matiyara)
Arvind Rajbhar urged voters to support SBSP, positioning the party as a strong alternative that prioritizes people’s needs over political rhetoric.
