New Delhi: Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar celebrated International Left-Handers Day in a distinctive way by sharing a video on social media that showcased his surprising skill with his left hand. In the video, Sachin, traditionally a right-handed batsman, is seen playing a series of impressive shots with his left hand, capturing the spirit of the day.

International Left-Handers Day is observed every year on August 13, was started in 1976 by Dean R. Campbell, the founder of Left-Handers International Inc. The day aims to highlight the unique qualities of left-handed individuals and bring attention to the everyday challenges they face.

Tendulkar, known for his impeccable right-handed batting, posted the video on X, demonstrating his versatility by taking on the challenge of batting left-handed. His effortless timing and graceful strokes in the video serve as a testament to his extraordinary cricketing skills.

Throughout his career, Tendulkar played with some of the greatest left-handed cricketers, including Kumar Sangakkara, Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh, and Adam Gilchrist.

Sachin Tendulkar’s cricketing achievements are unparalleled, as he remains the highest run-scorer in international cricket, with a staggering 34,357 runs and 100 centuries across 664 matches. He is also the only player to have scored 100 centuries in international cricket and was a crucial part of India’s victorious 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup team.
