Student Arrested for Inciting Violence Against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee

New Delhi : Kolkata Police have arrested a second-year BCom student, Kirti Sharma, for a provocative social media post calling for the assassination of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Sharma, who posted under the Instagram handle “kirtisocial,” is alleged to have incited others to carry out the assassination in a manner similar to the killing of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
