Non-bailable warrant issued under IPC Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, and 120B
Police raid at Dholpur gloves factory leads to Gaur’s arrest; associates still absconding
Prayagraj, September 22, 2024:
In a major breakthrough, Sanjeev Gaur, Director of Swear Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., was arrested from his gloves factory in Dholpur following allegations of fraud and forgery. The Prayagraj Commercial Court had issued a non-bailable warrant against Gaur under IPC Sections 419 (impersonation), 420 (cheating), 467 (forgery of valuable security), 468 (forgery for the purpose of cheating), 471 (using forged documents), and 120B (criminal conspiracy) after he was found to have submitted forged documents in a judicial proceeding, misleading the court.
Based on the warrant issued by the Prayagraj High Court, the police conducted a raid at the Dholpur factory of Swear Healthcare and took Gaur into custody. Alongside Gaur, non-bailable warrants have also been issued against his accomplices, including Ashutosh Kumar Tiwari, Ranjit Kumar Yadav, his wife Aradhana Gaur, and Rajesh Kumar. However, during the raid, Ashutosh Tiwari and Ranjit Yadav managed to flee the scene, and police efforts are underway to apprehend them.
The investigation revealed that the accused were involved in submitting false affidavits and forged signatures to the court in an attempt to mislead the judicial process. The accused falsely represented Rajesh Kumar as an employee of a rival company and presented fabricated evidence in a bid to deceive the court. This case pertains to a calculated conspiracy to undermine the judicial system by manipulating official documents and legal processes.
According to Investigating Officer Vinay Kumar Shukla, multiple attempts had been made to arrest the accused, but they had been evading authorities. None of the accused had a stay order against arrest, nor had they surrendered, prompting Judicial Magistrate Nepal Singh to issue the non-bailable warrant.
The Prayagraj police have stated that the investigation is progressing swiftly, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining accused.
