Tecno Camon 30 Series with Sony Cameras Launching in India

Tecno has teased the official launch of the Camon 30 Series in India, confirming that the lineup will feature Sony cameras. Although the specific models set for release in India haven’t been disclosed, the series comprises four variants: Tecno Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, Camon 30 Pro 5G, and Camon 30 Premier 5G. Initially unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in February, the base and Pro versions were later introduced in Nigeria.

Tecno Mobile India hinted at the upcoming launch of the Tecno Camon 30 series through a post on X, without specifying a date. A video accompanying the post revealed that the phones would come equipped with Sony Lytia cameras. Additionally, another teaser hinted at one of the upcoming models being available in black vegan leather.

The teaser of the Tecno Camon 30 series model suggests that the Indian variants will closely resemble their global counterparts in design, likely sharing similar specifications. The phones are anticipated to be unveiled in India this month, with more details expected to emerge closer to the launch.

In terms of specifications, the Tecno Camon 30 4G is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, while its 5G counterpart features a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC. The Camon 30 Pro 5G and Camon 30 Premier 5G models boast a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. All models come with 5,000mAh batteries and support up to 70W wired fast charging.
