Paris, renowned as one of the world’s top tourist destinations and home to the iconic Eiffel Tower, is facing a setback as the monument’s staff has gone on strike for the second time in two months. This strike has resulted in the closure of the Eiffel Tower, a major attraction in the romantic city, leaving tourists disappointed. The closure is attributed to the staff’s protest against the financial management of the Eiffel Tower.
A notice posted at the entrance of the tower, written in English, informs visitors of the closure due to the ongoing strike, with an apology for the inconvenience caused.
Additionally, an advisory has been issued by the Eiffel Tower operator on its official website, warning tourists about the disruption. Visitors intending to visit the tower on Monday were advised to anticipate disruptions and were urged to check the website for updates before making their way to the monument. Electronic ticket holders were also advised to check their emails for any notifications regarding their visit.
