Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is generating good momentum in its advance booking for its Diwali release. The film has already sold over 3.6 lakh tickets, grossing nearly Rs 10 crore. Despite expectations of lower turnout due to festive celebrations, fans are eagerly anticipating the big Diwali release.
The film is expected to have a strong Sunday opening, a rare occurrence in the Indian film industry. However, Monday’s collection is predicted to be even bigger. With its festive release, Tiger 3 is likely to cross the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office. Although ticket sales are currently slower, momentum is expected to pick up from Friday evening, and Sunday is expected to see a decent turnout, especially for daytime shows, before traditional Diwali ceremonies begin.
Earlier this year, Pathaan achieved a staggering pre-sales business of Rs 32.43 crore. While it may be challenging for Tiger 3 to reach that level at the moment, Saturday’s performance will provide a clearer picture. The film, which also features Emraan Hashmi as the main antagonist, is competing with Gadar 2, Jawan, and Pathaan in terms of advance sales. It will be interesting to see if Tiger 3 surpasses these films or not.
