UGC NET June 2024 Application Form Closing Today at Ugcnet.Nta.Ac.In; Registration Link Available

The UGC NET Application Form for June 2024 is set to close today. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conclude the registration process on May 10, 2024. Interested candidates can access the UGC NET Application Form 2024 at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/. The deadline for completing the transaction of examination fees (via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI Payment Modes) is May 12, 2024. General/Unreserved category applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1150. The UGC NET examination will be conducted solely in OMR-based mode and will consist of two papers, both featuring objective-type, multiple-choice questions. There will be no breaks between papers. Detailed eligibility criteria, application form filling instructions, and other pertinent details can be found on the website.

Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET June 2024 Application Form:
Qualifying Examination:

(a) General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC. Candidates from Humanities and Social Science (including languages), Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, etc., are eligible for this Test. The eligibility criteria for Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to Non-Creamy Layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Third gender category candidates is a minimum of 50% marks (without rounding off marks) in the Master’s degree or in equivalent examination.
(b) Candidates currently pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course, or those who have appeared for their final year examination, whose results are awaited, or those whose qualifying examinations have been delayed, may also apply for this test. However, such candidates will be provisionally admitted and considered eligible for the JRF/Assistant Professor only after passing their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination with at least 55% marks (50% marks for OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/Third gender category candidates). These candidates must complete their Master’s degree or equivalent examination within two years from the date of NET result with the required percentage of marks, failing which they will be disqualified.

How to Register for UGC NET June 2024 Application Form:
Visit the official website of UGC NET at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/.
Navigate to the homepage and find the link titled “UGC NET June 2024 Registration/Login.”
If you’re a new user, provide your registration details.
Once registered, sign in to your account using your application number, password, pin, and other relevant details.
Complete the application form and submit the application fee.
Now Download a copy of the submitted application form for future need.
Applications submitted through modes other than online will not be accepted. No changes will be entertained through offline modes such as fax or email.
