Laxman Utekar’s historical epic Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, continues its unprecedented box office streak, emerging as one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films. The film, which chronicles the life of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has not only taken the Indian box office by storm but is also performing exceptionally well in overseas markets.

According to Sacnilk Box Office reports, Chhaava has amassed a staggering ₹412.5 crore net in India, with a gross collection of ₹478.1 crores. The movie saw a strong opening, earning ₹31 crore on its first day and sustaining momentum with consistent double-digit earnings over the past two weeks.
Even after 15 days in theaters, the film shows no signs of slowing down, pulling in ₹13 crore on Day 15. With no major competition at the box office, Chhaava is expected to continue its dominance in the coming days.

The movie’s success isn’t limited to domestic audiences. Chhaava has raked in ₹71 crore from overseas markets, taking its worldwide total to an impressive ₹549.1 crore. This puts it on the brink of surpassing Sanju (₹541.76 crore) and climbing higher in the list of Bollywood’s all-time global earners.
The film’s international appeal, fueled by the global Indian diaspora and history enthusiasts, has contributed significantly to its overseas performance. Strong word-of-mouth, coupled with Vicky Kaushal’s rising star power, has helped Chhaava gain traction in key markets like North America, the Middle East, and Australia.
