Viral Video: Woman Slaps Policeman on Duty in Delhi Street, Internet Calls for Response

Causing harm or abusing a police officer in India poses a significant issue and is against the law. If an individual strikes a police officer, they could find themselves in legal trouble. This may lead to arrest, charges for assault, and even imprisonment. Recently, a video has emerged online and quickly gone viral, depicting a woman slapping an on-duty police officer. The video captures the moment when the woman seemingly hits a police officer who is performing his duties on a road in the national capital.

The video has been shared on Twitter by an account named ‘Ghar Ke Kalesh’. Since its posting, the video has elicited strong reactions from internet users who appear to be astonished, as they call for stringent action against the woman.

Not the First Video
Back in May, another video gained significant popularity on social media. It featured a woman striking a police officer at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This incident occurred when fans had gathered to watch the final match of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. However, the match was postponed to Monday due to heavy rainfall. The reasons behind the woman’s actions remain unknown.
