After an eventful day in Mumbai filled with victory parades and a grand felicitation ceremony, India’s star cricketer Virat Kohli has set off for a much-needed holiday. The visibly tired Kohli departed from Mumbai airport late Thursday night following the celebrations at Wankhede Stadium. Fans eagerly followed his every move as he made his way through the airport. With Kohli not participating in the upcoming Zimbabwe T20I tour due to his retirement from the format, he is now taking a break. According to reports, Kohli is heading to London for a family vacation.

Before the victory parade in Mumbai, the Indian cricket team had an important meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Modi was keen to hear from Virat Kohli about his mindset leading into the crucial final. Despite a challenging journey earlier, Kohli’s outstanding 76-run performance in the final was instrumental in securing India’s World Cup victory.
