Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Launched in India with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and 5,700mAh Battery: Price and Specifications

On June 6, Vivo introduced the X Fold 3 Pro to the Indian market, marking the company’s debut in the foldable smartphone segment outside of China. Previously available in China since April, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and features a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup. The device boasts an 8.03-inch AMOLED inner display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Pricing and Availability in India

In India, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is priced at INR 1,59,999 for the single 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant and is available in Celestial Black. Pre-bookings are currently open on the Vivo India website, Amazon, and Flipkart, with sales commencing on June 13.

Vivo is offering several introductory incentives, including up to INR 15,000 in bank discounts for payments made with HDFC and SBI cards. Customers can also benefit from an exchange bonus of up to INR 10,000 and a one-time free screen replacement. Additionally, there are no-cost EMI options available for up to 24 months, starting at INR 6,666 per month. Vivo’s Wireless Charger 2.0, priced at INR 5,999, will be available from June 17 through Vivo E-store and offline channels.

India is among the first international markets to receive a foldable smartphone from Vivo. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will compete with devices such as Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 5, OnePlus Open, and Tecno Phantom V Fold.

Specifications of Vivo X Fold 3 Pro

The dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) Vivo X Fold 3 Pro operates on Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14. It features an 8.03-inch primary E7 AMOLED display with a 2K (2,200×2,480 pixels) resolution, 4,500 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, and HDR10 support. The device also includes a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover display (1,172×2,748 pixels). Both displays support a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, with screen-to-body ratios of 91.77 percent and 90.92 percent, respectively.

The smartphone is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Its Carbon fibre hinge is designed to endure 100 folds per day for over 12 years. The front and back panels are made of glass and glass fibre, respectively, while the middle frame utilizes aluminum alloy.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro features a Zeiss-backed triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.68 aperture and OIS, a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Both the cover and main displays house 32-megapixel front cameras with f/2.4 apertures. Additionally, the device incorporates Vivo’s V3 imaging chip.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC, A-GPS, OTG, and a USB Type-C port. The device is equipped with various sensors, including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, flicker sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, electronic compass, color temperature sensor, laser focus sensor, air pressure sensor, multispectral sensor, and infrared blaster. It also features a fingerprint sensor and carries an IPX8 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is powered by a 5,700mAh lithium battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. When unfolded, it measures 159.96×142.4×5.2mm and weighs 236 grams.
