As India gears up for one of the most significant events of the year – the Consecration Ceremony of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir – a disturbing development has emerged. Fraudsters have been exposed for exploiting the anticipation surrounding the grand ceremony to illicitly collect money from unsuspecting individuals under the pretext of ‘donations for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Construction.’ This fraudulent scheme was uncovered by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), which has subsequently reported the matter to the Uttar Pradesh Police.
The scam, targeting people weeks before the scheduled consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, has prompted the VHP to issue a warning on social media. The National Spokesperson of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Vinod Bansal, took to the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter) to alert the public about this fraudulent activity.
