Ordering ice cream online turned into a terrifying ordeal for a doctor who discovered a piece of a human finger in her dessert. The doctor had ordered ice cream from an online delivery app and was shocked to find a human finger protruding from the ice cream. Initially mistaking it for a nut, she later realized it was indeed a human finger.
The doctor promptly reported the incident to the Malad police station in Mumbai. The police registered a case against Yummo Ice Creams and sent the contaminated ice cream for further investigation. The human organ found in the ice cream was also sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) by the Malad Police.
Doctor Recounts the Horrific Incident
Orlem Brandon Serrao, a doctor residing in the suburbs of Malad, had ordered a cone of ice cream online from Yummo Ice Creams when she made the shocking discovery.
Man Discovers Live Worm in Oranges Ordered Online
Another disturbing incident involving online orders, a customer of Zepto found live worm in oranges he had ordered. Sharing his experience on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), he posted a video along with his complaint.
“I ordered oranges from @ZeptoNow and found a live worm in one of the oranges I received,” he wrote.
Expressing frustration with Zepto’s customer service, he added, “Unable to complain on Zepto… What kind of service are you providing? No help from the app.”
