Modi 3.0 Government: Narendra Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India on Sunday evening, along with several other MPs who took oath as ministers. Among them was Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, who was appointed as a Minister of State in the Modi 3.0 government. Pemmasani has garnered attention as the richest candidate to emerge victorious in the recent Lok Sabha elections. He secured Guntur seat in Andhra Pradesh.
Making his electoral debut in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, Pemmasani won by a significant margin, defeating YSRCP’s Kilari Venkata Rosaiah by more than 3.4 lakh votes. The 48-year-old doctor-turned-politician has drawn media interest due to his extraordinary wealth, with his election affidavit revealing family assets exceeding ₹5,700 crore.
