US targets Iran’s key nuclear facilities in precision B-2 bomber strikes under Operation Midnight Hammer

US Airstrikes on Iran: In a dramatic escalation of tensions, the United States has carried out airstrikes on three key Iranian nuclear facilities using B-2 stealth bombers. The covert military operation, codenamed “Midnight Hammer,” targeted Iran’s Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow nuclear sites, installations long believed to be heavily fortified and deeply buried.

According to satellite imagery released after the operation, the strikes caused substantial damage, particularly to underground structures. These sites had long been regarded as heavily fortified and were believed to be secure against most forms of external attack.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed the success of the operation and emphasized the scale of the damage inflicted. He also shared footage showing the B-2 bombers returning safely to their base in Missouri, underlining the precision and planning involved in the mission.

Vice President JD Vance clarified that the operation was not a declaration of war against Iran but a strategic move aimed at curbing its nuclear ambitions. He reiterated that diplomatic channels with Tehran remain open and that the United States continues to seek peaceful solutions.

While Iran has yet to issue an official response, the strikes are likely to heighten tensions in the region. The international community is closely monitoring developments as the situation between Washington and Tehran remains uncertain following this high-profile military action.
