WWDC 2024 Full Schedule
Following the keynote and Platforms State of the Union, WWDC 2024 will continue with over 100 technical sessions. These sessions, led by Apple designers, engineers, and other experts, will be available on YouTube and the Apple Developer website and app over the next few days.
Additionally, Apple will host 50 winners of the annual Swift Student Challenge at Apple Park for three days. These distinguished winners will participate in special activities throughout the week of WWDC 2024.
Apple is also set to announce the winners of its annual Apple Design Awards at WWDC 2024. The finalists have already been listed on the Apple Developer website and app, with the winners to be revealed soon.
What to Expect at WWDC 2024
At WWDC 2024, Apple is expected to detail its upcoming operating system updates: iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, and visionOS 2. Reports suggest that Apple is working on several enhancements to its operating systems, including improvements to the iOS user interface and customization options.
New AI features are also anticipated, with updates to Siri potentially introducing new capabilities. Apple has reportedly been in discussions with OpenAI and Google about integrating chatbot features into iOS 18, offering both on-device and cloud-based AI functionality.
There are no current plans to launch new hardware at WWDC 2024, as Apple recently released new iPad Pro and iPad Air models, along with the new Apple Pencil Pro. However, given Apple’s history of keeping its plans secret until official announcements, we’ll have to wait until the keynote to see if there are any surprises.
