Sidharth Malhotra continues his portrayal of military personnel on screen in his upcoming role. The actor appears as an off-duty army officer in his next film, ‘Yodha’. The teaser for the movie was unveiled on Monday, showcasing Sidharth engaging in intense action sequences. From confronting terrorists to wielding firearms and causing destruction, the actor is depicted as fiercely protecting the passengers aboard a hijacked plane. Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, ‘Yodha’ also features Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna in significant roles. However, the teaser predominantly focuses on Sidharth’s high-energy action scenes.
Directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, ‘Yodha’ narrates the story of an off-duty officer who finds himself inadvertently caught in a hijacking situation aboard a plane. Upon learning of the terrorists’ activities, he utilizes both his intellect and physical prowess to ensure the safety of all passengers, refusing to yield to the group’s demands. Sidharth once again dons the uniform, embodying both the strategic mind and the brawn of the narrative.
‘Yodha’ marks Sidharth’s fourth film portraying a cop, agent, or military officer. He was recently seen portraying a Delhi police officer in the Amazon Prime Video series ‘Indian Police Force’.
