Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on his first visit to Ayodhya in 2024, instructed officials to implement the “Kumbh model of cleanliness” in the city, aiming to make it the cleanest and most beautiful. During his inspection, he stressed the importance of dust-free roads and daily cleaning of toilets.
Yogi Adityanath expressed concern for the well-being of saints and inspected ongoing development projects. He emphasized the need for high-quality execution within the specified timeframe, anticipating a surge in devotees and tourists after January 22.
Any negligence was deemed unacceptable, and Trust General Secretary Champat Rai briefed the Chief Minister on arrangements at Teerth Kshetra Puram. Yogi Adityanath visited various areas, emphasizing cleanliness similar to the Kumbh festival and addressing specific issues like raising door frames.
After visiting significant sites and inspecting ongoing works, Yogi Adityanath worshipped at Sankatmochan Hanumangarhi and Ramlala, offering prayers at Kuber Tila. The Ram Temple Consecration Ceremony on January 22 is expected to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other VVIP guests.
Vedic rituals of Ram Mandir for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony will begin on January 16, 2024. The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Yogi Adityanath, aims to boost Ayodhya’s tourism with initiatives like water sports and boating, focusing on rejuvenating key locations like Guptar Ghat.
