Atishi, a key figure managing AAP’s affairs after Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, made the poaching allegations earlier this year. Alongside her, Kejriwal also accused the BJP of attempting to poach seven AAP MLAs to destabilize the government.
The BJP dismissed these allegations as “false” and “baseless,” challenging Kejriwal and Atishi to provide evidence. The Delhi Police issued notices to both leaders regarding these claims.
Atishi further alleged that the BJP offered her a chance to switch parties to secure her political future, threatening that if she refused, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) would arrest her within a month.
These allegations led to a defamation notice from the BJP, demanding a public apology. The BJP reiterated that the claims were unfounded and challenged the AAP leaders to substantiate their accusations.
