The event is scheduled for January 22, 2024. BJP workers have allegedly been instructed to set up large screens at the booth level for the live broadcast of the Shri Ram Consecration. The objective is to enable the general public to witness the dedication of Shri Ram Lala.

Additionally, BJP workers are encouraged to participate in social work on an individual level. “Workers may opt to distribute blankets, organize community feasts ‘bhandara,’ or contribute through donations in terms of food or fruits to assist those in need,” sources stated.

On January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple. Invitations have been extended to numerous VVIP guests from India and abroad, adding to the significance of the occasion in Ayodhya. One week before the major celebration, on January 16, Vedic rites will commence for the Pran-Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Ram Lalla (baby Lord Ram) in Ayodhya. On January 22, priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi will conduct the principal ceremonies for the consecration of Ram Lalla. The Amrit Mahotsav will be celebrated in Ayodhya from January 14 to January 22.

A 1008 Hundi Mahayagya will also be organized, where thousands of devotees will be provided with meals. Several tent cities are being erected in Ayodhya to accommodate the expected influx of thousands of devotees who are anticipated to visit the temple town in Uttar Pradesh for the grand consecration.

The Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust mentioned that arrangements have been made for catering to 10,000 to 15,000 individuals. In preparation for the anticipated influx of guests during the major event, local officials are implementing additional security measures and organizing logistics to ensure a seamless and spiritually enlightening experience for all attendees.
