The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced on Thursday that it has imposed a penalty of Rs 30 lakhs on Air India. This penalty stems from an incident where an 80-year-old passenger collapsed and died at Mumbai airport after being forced to walk from the aircraft to the terminal due to the airline’s failure to provide a wheelchair.
