In a distressing turn of events, the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu, finds himself entangled in a web of legal battles, with justice slipping through his grasp. The Supreme Court of India has made the decision to delay ruling on Naidu’s plea for pre-arrest bail in the FiberNet scam case. This postponement arises in light of the ongoing skill development case, as the Supreme Court opts to await the verdict in the latter case before addressing Naidu’s plea.
As a result, the next hearing for Chandrababu Naidu’s bail is now scheduled for a distant date, the 8th of November. It’s crucial to note that Naidu was taken into custody on the 9th of September 2023. Therefore, if the Supreme Court ultimately decides on his bail plea on the 8th of November, the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister will have already spent a harrowing 60 days behind bars.
