Dr. Udit Raj to be joint candidate of the Congress and AAP from the North-West Delhi Lok Sabha seat

Wellwishers come in large numbers to greet Dr. Udit Raj and extend their support

New Delhi, April 15, 2024:

The Congress party announced Dr. Udit Raj as joint candidate of Congress and AAP from the North-West Delhi Lok Sabha seat on Sunday evening. He will be contesting against BJP candidate Yogendra Chandoliya.

Soon after Dr. Udit Raj received the ticket for the North-West Delhi parliamentary constituency, well-wishers, Congress-AAP officials, and workers have been flocking to his residence to congratulate him. Dr. Udit Raj expressed his gratitude to everyone. On Monday, at his residence, KKCCI Chairman Vinod Panwar, Delhi Congress senior spokesperson Dr. Naresh Kumar, Nangloi Vidhan Sabha Block President Ramesh Kaushik, and East Delhi Lok Sabha in-charge Dr. Jeet Singh Yadav arrived to congratulate him along with other congress workers and members.

Dr. Udit Raj talked about the development projects undertaken during his previous tenure to the people who came to congratulate him on receiving the ticket. He said that the construction of the Narela Alipur flyover, the establishment of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Narela, the construction of more than 50 bus stops, and the establishment of over 150 open gyms were all made possible through his efforts. Furthermore, he promised to extend the metro to Narela Bawana and initiate various development works, including the transformation of Kirari after being elected.

Sanjay, a local resident who came to congratulate Dr. Udit Raj on receiving the ticket, expressed his happiness, wishing him success for the upcoming elections. He said that if Dr. Udit Raj wins, it will lead to further development in the area. Another resident, Manish, mentioned that during Dr. Udit Raj’s previous tenure as a Member of Parliament, significant development works were carried out in the area. He sees a strong possibility of winning again with the ticket in hand, which would greatly benefit the area’s development.

Hundreds of Mahila Congress workers were seen extending their support and happiness on Congress High command decision to nominate Dr. Udit Raj from North West Delhi Lok Sabha seat. They expressed their joy by releasing balloons into the air and dancing . A woman named Sarita congratulated him, expressing her desire for his victory, highlighting his respect for women and his ongoing work for their development.
