The earthquake was felt in various parts of Nepal, including Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan. These tremors were also felt across Delhi NCR.

Here are the reasons why Delhi NCR is susceptible to earthquakes throughout the year:
Delhi’s geographical location on the boundary of the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates exposes it to seismic activity.
The presence of active fault lines in the region increases the likelihood of earthquakes. These fault lines, where tectonic plates meet, are more prone to slipping and causing seismic events.
The soft soil beneath the area amplifies the impact of earthquakes, raising the risk of damage to buildings and infrastructure.
