“Have been the best parlimentarian”: Dr. Udit Raj responds to opposition within the party, highlights development he has brought to his constituency

New Delhi, April 22, 2024:

Udit Raj and two other candidates from Delhi held a press conference at the Pradesh Congress office with Pradesh President Arvinder Singh Lovely and in-charge Deepak Bavaria, where they united everyone. In the conference, Udit Raj responded to the slogans and opposition voices with the work he has done. He mentioned that although he got the approval for the Narela metro train, the work didn’t start. He also got approval for two more railway crossing bridges including Ghewara, but the work didn’t progress. He further said that during his tenure from 2014 to 2019, he carried out development works worth more than the allocated parliamentary fund. Many MPs couldn’t even spend their 25 crores, but I have spent even more than that.

What is the matter?

The Congress party has fielded Udit Raj as a candidate from North West Delhi, while Kanhaiya Kumar has been nominated as the candidate from North East Delhi.

Meanwhile, the party has entrusted Subhash Chopra with a new responsibility. The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee has appointed Subhash Chopra as the chairman of the coordination committee for the Lok Sabha elections. This responsibility has been assigned to him by the All India Congress Committee. He has been given this responsibility to coordinate with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He will facilitate coordination between AAP and Congress for the Delhi Lok Sabha elections, deciding which leader will attend rallies on which parliamentary seat, which candidate will be promoted for election campaigns, etc. Subhash Chopra will engage in discussions with the top leaders of both parties.

The nomination dates for all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi are approaching, so Congress has begun preparations to accelerate its election campaign.
