“If…”: Threat Call Over Pakistani Woman Who Came to India for Her Love Resembles 26/11 Attack… What Next?

New Delhi

An official from the Mumbai Police has reported that the traffic control room received a phone call from an unidentified person who issued a threat of a terror attack similar to the 26/11 attacks if Pakistani national Seema Haider did not return to her country. The call was received on July 12, and the official made this statement on Friday.

The caller, who spoke in Urdu, explicitly mentioned a terror attack resembling the infamous Mumbai attacks that occurred on November 26, 2008. The caller also stated that the Uttar Pradesh government would be held accountable for the attack, according to the police official.

The Mumbai Police is currently investigating the threat call and has assigned a team from the crime branch to the case. The call was made using an application, and the police are attempting to trace the caller’s IP address, as stated by the official.

Seema Haider, a Pakistani citizen, recently entered India illegally with the intention of marrying her lover Sachin Meena, a resident of Greater Noida. The couple initially met while playing the online game PUBG.

Both individuals were arrested by the police for Seema’s illegal presence in India. However, they were subsequently granted bail by a court in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, last week.

On July 4, in front of the media and the police, Sachin and Seema openly confessed their love for each other, urging the government to allow them to marry and reside together in India.
